Barbara Branden: To Think or Not to Think?

Barbara Branden is a writer and lecturer. She is known for her personal friendship (and subsequent break) with Ayn Rand, and is the author of The Passion of Ayn Rand (1986).

In this video from the International Society of Individual Liberty’s World Libertarian Conference in 1995, Branden lectures on the importance of critical, intentional thought; in her words “judging concretes by means of principle.”
