Dr. Ron Paul is currently the U.S. Representative for Texas’s 14th congressional district. He has also been a three-time candidate for President of the United States; as a Libertarian in 1988 and as a Republican in 2008 and 2012.

In this video from a 1989 meeting of the Libertarian Party State Chairs, Dr. Paul shares experiences from his campaign in 1988. He talks about various challenges the campaign faced and expresses optimism for the future of libertarian ideas in the United States.
